The State Banqueting Hall
Opposite the Cabinet Room is the State Banqueting Hall, which is used to host luxurious banquets for the President and his special guests.
The highlight of the State Banqueting Hall is the use of yellow as the main color for the room. According to Eastern beliefs, yellow is the color of kings and emperors, the color of royalty.
Therefore, using yellow as the main color will make the banquet space more luxurious and also improve the guests’ appetite.
In addition, the Banquet Hall also displays the painting "Sơn hà cẩm tú" (Beautiful Mountains and Rivers) painted in 1966 by architect Ngô Viết Thụ on the occasion of the inauguration of the Independence Palace.
