The President's office is simply furnished. Behind the desk is a painting of the Tri Thủy Bridge in the coastal area of Ninh Chữ, Phan Rang, painted by the painter Phạm Cơ in oil on canvas. This is President Thieu's hometown.

In the right corner of the room is a hand-embroidered picture on a red velvet background with the image of a crane perched on a pine tree, symbolizing a wish for longevity. On the left there is a door leading down to the basement in case of war.
