The office of Vice President Nguyễn Cao Kỳ still retains a painting by his wife Đặng Tuyết Mai (mother of MC Nguyễn Cao Kỳ Duyên), and many souvenirs from his time in office.

On the desk is a model airplane because he was formerly an Air Force general of the Republic of Vietnam Armed Forces. In order to win Tuyết Mai's heart, General Kỳ once flew two planes with Colonel Lưu Kim Cương, following the plane that Tuyet Mai was working as a flight attendant, and then performed aerobatic maneuvers in the sky, causing the passengers to run out to watch.
