The Ambassador Room
The Ambassador Room in the Independence Palace is where foreign ambassadors come to present their credentials (an official document certifying that the ambassador is the representative of the head of state of the sending country) to the President of the Saigon government.
This room is designed in a strong Japanese style. Inside, there is also a painting called "Bình Ngô Đại Cáo" (Proclamation of the Great Victory over the Ming) by painter Nguyen Van Minh made with lacquer paint on a luxurious gold-plated background.
Although the Ambassador Room is not as large as the other rooms, it is also considered one of the most magnificent rooms in the Independence Palace because of the valuable objects displayed inside the room.
