The T-shaped building with a floor area of 4,500m² is located in the center of the complex. This was once the residence and workplace of the President of the Republic of Vietnam. This area has 3 floors, 2 mezzanines, 1 rooftop, 1 basement, and a basement. After 1975, this main building continued to be used for some rooms, the rest to serve visitors. The palace has about 100 different rooms and each room in the palace is designed according to its own separate function.
